National Frameworks Moving Towards Criminal Deterrence

India's Sports Ministry has released a draft code proposing centralised digital databases and legal culpability for document manipulation, so eligibility can no longer be treated as administrative routine.

Boardroom Implication:

Liability for eligibility fraud is shifting upward to governing bodies and sponsors, making independent custody of verification data an essential legal shield against class actions and reputational damage.
