Mr. Choudhury brings with him a vast experience of more than 36 years with the Cabinet Secretariat, wherein he retired as the Director with the cabinet in February 2009.
During this vast tenure, he has dealt with matters relating to national security, international affairs and collection of intelligence; and traveled extensively within the country and abroad for national security issues. He has been commended with "Uttam Sewa Praman Patra" in 1997, and "Sarvottam Sewa Praman Patra in 2007 for his distinguished services.
