    Shift Security Supervisor

    Location: Manesar

    Purpose:

    To lead a team of Security Officers and ensure effective daily deployment, incident response, and adherence to security standards. The role is vital in developing a robust site security culture and ensuring compliance with company policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and motivate on-duty Security Officers to uphold performance and ethical standards.
    • Oversee daily operations to ensure effective site coverage and customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement SOPs aligned with group security standards.
    • Deliver the L1 Assurance plan (daily/weekly checks).
    • Report and escalate all security breaches as per classification standards.
    • Drive compliance with all safety, quality, and training procedures.
    • Ensure optimal functioning of all physical, technical, and procedural security systems.
    • Lead the team during incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
    • Conduct training, briefings, and inductions for security personnel and new staff.
    • Ensure all officers are properly uniformed and maintain a professional appearance.

    Scope of Work:

    • Monitor and manage all security and emergency-related procedures.
    • Investigate and report security incidents and risks.
    • Ensure controlled contractor and visitor access to the site.
    • Support card access creation and visitor management.
    • Champion internal audit routines and reporting.
    • Handle performance management and staffing decisions.
    • Ensure timely maintenance and fault resolution of security equipment.

    Relationship Management:

    • Maintain service quality in alignment with SLAs and KPIs.
    • Liaise with internal teams and vendors for special projects.
    • Conduct training and foster values aligned with Securitas and JM standards.
    • Support site events and incident management activities.
    • Maintain strong working relationships across stakeholders.

    People Management:

    • Plan manpower requirements and oversee security staff recruitment.
    • Monitor staff performance and facilitate development.
    • Approve leaves, manage absenteeism, and ensure adequate shift coverage.

    Health & Safety:

    • Maintain clean and safe work environments.
    • Ensure proper reporting of damaged or missing equipment.
    • Conduct risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities.
    • Provide fire/life safety training and ensure corrective actions for identified hazards.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to coach and guide team members.
    • Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to make timely decisions and manage priorities independently.
    • Capable of working under pressure and engaging with all organizational levels.
